Small Tower for Scavengers Wargame
thingiverse
The remnants of the Beyond's lords still linger, leaving behind a desolate strip of land, scarred by ghost towns, crumbling buildings, temples, and forgotten localities. Whispers spread like wildfire through our world, hinting at treasures, potent weapons, and fantastical artifacts hidden within these forsaken places. Those driven by ambition and greed have taken the risk to venture into these cursed lands in search of their prizes. Organized into small groups, they brave the dangers that lie ahead, forging a path through the devastation. This is the premise behind Scavengers, a tabletop skirmish game set amidst the ravaged landscape, where players take on the role of adventurers seeking fame and fortune. Extracted from Alabar Chronicle's Guide to Our World: Introduction Scavengers is a miniature war game designed for small-scale combat with fantasy or steampunk figures. Two players engage in a fierce battle, each side fielding five to ten miniatures (a hero and their loyal henchmen). The game is easy to grasp but demands time and experience to master. Three core principles guided the game's development: a) Players can utilize pre-made 3D models or any miniature collection they prefer. This flexibility ensures that Scavengers isn't tied to a specific manufacturer or company, making it accessible to all. To help the developers, feel free to download their models – they're available for both free and paid options. b) The focus should be on the miniatures themselves, as miniature gaming is ultimately about showcasing these tiny masterpieces while having fun. c) A rich background story will unfold, with new units, histories, and game scenarios being developed. To contribute to the game's growth, players are encouraged to share their suggestions for improvement. Enjoy Scavengers and have a blast! One important note: this is just the basic core rules – further books will be released to expand on the game.
