sketchfab

Hand-sized quartzite stone with six distinct cupmarks carved into its surface measures eight and a half centimeters in its largest dimension. Some of these markings are remarkably smooth while others appear more ruggedly textured. The dimensions of the cupmarks range from two point four to three point one centimeters in diameter. In some areas, the stone's surface has been damaged by crushing forces. This artifact was discovered during a site reconnaissance in the Sarup area on Funen Island, Denmark. Typically dated to the late Neolithic or Bronze Age period spanning from approximately 2000 BC to 500 BC. Three-dimensional imaging of this find was achieved through the use of 204 images captured with the Fuji XF 10 camera. The data was processed using PhotomodelerPremium software developed by Eos systems.
