I needed a compact speaker for my eurorack system and was surprised to find limited options available. While browsing online, I stumbled upon the IKEA FREKVENS portable speaker, priced at 17.99 Euro. Since I'm a fan of Teenage Engineering's design aesthetic, I wanted this small project to maintain that style. Fortunately, the FREKVENS can be disassembled and reconfigured to fit within a 13-hp module with all interfaces on top. If done carefully, this process is non-destructive, allowing me to potentially return the speaker to its original state. I omitted the mounting holes in my print, as they often lack accuracy, and instead drill them using a Dremel for precise placement.
