Small Sheep Cookie Cutter

Small Sheep Cookie Cutter

thingiverse

I designed a small sheep cookie cutter for my family party, but the one I found was too large, about 4 inches across, due to unequal wall thickness. It had gaps in the design when printed because it wouldn't scale down properly. I wanted a cookie, not a sandwich, so I returned to Open Scad and created this new sheep cookie cutter that produces a two-inch cookie. The design features a plunger for easily removing dough from the small head cutter. To assemble the cookies, I melted semisweet and dark chocolate chips to create legs, a face, and eye dots using toothpicks for the eyes. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate or it will lose its temper and never set. I've also included an icing file that I used to make white eye dots. To use this file, you'll need to drill a 3/32 hole in the end of the tool. Fill the icing cap with a small amount of frosting, attach it to an empty water bottle, and squeeze for dots. I used frosting to glue on coconut flakes and the sheep's head. For best results, apply the frosting creatively!
