A compact, elementary plant vessel suited for germinating tiny seeds is placed in a shallow saucer filled with water covered by a Tupperware-like lid. One or two seeds are carefully planted in each pot and then transferred to a larger container once the initial or secondary set of authentic leaves has begun to sprout.
