Small Screwless Vice

I needed to firmly grasp my bronzed fill Maker coin in order to polish it without crushing any delicate details. Since I couldn't find a vice like this one on Thingiverse, I decided to create my own. Print each STL file separately. The slanted section of the wedges should be lightly sanded to remove the visible steps and enable smooth movement between them when closing the vice. The vice is surprisingly sturdy considering its design and can securely hold small objects up to 38mm x 38mm in size. You can easily scale it up for larger items, but be mindful of your print settings. The inserts work well with most small items, and you can modify them to gently cradle specific shapes. When not in use, the vice neatly folds into a compact puck. I printed mine at .3mm resolution with three perimeter layers, three top/bottom layers, and 50% infill. This resulted in a very sturdy design that I'm confident will withstand regular use. I used eSun ABS but plan to experiment with their PLA+ soon since it's said to be even tougher; they also give me free samples because we're neighbors!
