Small Rover Robot
thingiverse
I designed this small Rover robot with my daughter as part of her Arduino programming learning experience. The base is specifically engineered to hold two standard servos and utilizes a marble as a rear caster. Slots along the sides are available for mounting various sensors, bumpers, etc. To ensure flexibility in future modifications, I deliberately omitted a custom mount for a specific platform board, instead opting to accommodate a range of platforms such as Arduinos, RaspPis, and Beaglebones. The robot remains unfinished, necessitating additional work on the marble holder, which currently lacks sufficient size to securely hold a standard-sized marble.
