Small Rod and Reel

Printing away, let's see how it turns out! Opting for a simple approach on the reel, I'm hoping it'll all fit together smoothly. No stops to hold it back and no lines to secure, that is - just a smooth ride from start to finish. A nylon string will do the trick; tie it around the shaft, give it a turn, and we're good to go. If something goes awry, I've got a backup plan in place. Long-term goals include designing a sturdy stand to showcase this beauty when "catching" isn't an issue. Displaying that prize fish with a clever catchphrase? Now that's the real prize! Maybe I'll submit a project link for http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:241790 - we'll see if it flies or falls flat, considering whether it's officially a spin-off.
