<p>This little beast packs a whooping 2 grams of filament and still can hold several kilograms of weight. (3 grams with supports)</p><p>Bag in the picture weighs just over 6 [kg].</p><p>Because the tensile strength is more important than yield strength in this application, PLA is discouraged to be used as a material. I use ASA and PETG with great results.</p><p>Spacing between the grappling arms are 4 [mm] and each are 6 [mm] wide. I don't know if there here is a branch standard on these grates, but it works with at least two of the brand we have at home. (Look at the pictures for clarification.)</p><p>Printer settings: This must be printed laying on the side, preferably with supports so that layers adhere perfectly to each other. No brim should be needed.</p><p>Material: Any material that doesn't snap and is to stiff. So PETG, ASA, ABS, Nylon, PP etch should be fine. I use PETG.</p>
