Small Printable Spool (Fits on MP Select Mini)

I needed a compact spool for wrapping Makerbox filaments onto for printing with my little printer, but all the options available were either too big or used up at least 100g of filament to print. This spool prints in two halves that snap together after printing, requiring only about 40g of filament and taking approximately 3.5 hours to print. It looks like it would hold double the length of filament that a 100g spool could hold. I struggled to wrap the Makerbox filament by hand (and I even tangled the wood-fill while wrapping and snapped it halfway, oops!) so I'll probably just keep some empty 1kg spools on hand until my next few run out. I decided to post this anyway in case anyone else might find it useful. After printing the first half, I realized that the hole was not only too small but also made it difficult to feed the start of filament through it, which would make it hard to spin on the Monoprice Mini's stock spool holder. I'll create a version with a larger hole for those who don't mind if the center is obstructed and another version without the hole altogether. I used tape to hold the start of the filament in place. The image above shows a full 50g sample from Makerbox wrapped on. EDIT: alexhop discovered that this spool will hold just shy of a 200g roll from Push Plastic (about 195g). I had an idea for the sides from the start, basing it off my GP3D spool of blue PLA. The issue I faced was designing the connector for the two halves. This was done through trial and error without the spool walls, adapting the model after each test print. Luckily, I nailed it on the third attempt.
