Small precise valve regulator
thingiverse
This is a small press-valve that can fine-tune fluid/air flow by pressing a flexible pipe (such as silicone or pvc) through it. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.15 Infill: 60 Notes: The model is friendly to printer settings, so you don't need to fiddle with raft/support, just run it! Post-Printing: You'll also need a bolt M4 that's long enough (over 27mm, I used 50mm, but it seems too long), and the nut for the bolt. Put the flexible pipe through the body. Insert the 'insert' part into the body, then put the nut in its special house. Screw the bolt through the nut so it presses the 'insert' with its end. That's all! How I Designed This: I needed a needle valve to precisely tune water flow, but until that arrives, I modelled and made this one as a temporary solution. It turns out to be quite good.
