I'm repurposing this old 12V 5A power supply from a past project to make it safe for use. I'll encase it in a protective housing to eliminate any risk of electrical shock. Adding a switch will allow me to turn the power on and off, and installing a standard 3-pin power adapter like those found in ATX supplies will give me more versatility. A small hole will be drilled into the casing to accommodate the 12V wires when they exit.
