Vegetation encompasses various plant species and their ground cover, without specific reference to taxonomy, life forms, structure, or geographic extent. It is broader than flora, which denotes species composition, and may refer to spatial scales from local to global. Examples include primeval redwood forests, coastal mangrove stands, sphagnum bogs, desert soil crusts, lawns, wheat fields, and roadside weed patches. Vegetation type is defined by dominant species or common characteristics, such as elevation range or environmental factors. The term approximates ecologist Frederic Clements' earth cover concept used by the Bureau of Land Management. This small plant set comprises 15 low-poly models of diverse vegetation (grass, flowers, shrubs, etc.). With 81 polygons and 162 triangles, it features transparent realistic textures for each model. Created in Blender v2.77, some textures are courtesy of pngtree.com's graphics.
