small peg
cults3d
A small peg, printed in PLA, to fixate the guiding wire of my robotic garden mower around the perimeter of my garden. Could be used for fixing other things in the garden as well. The overall length of this peg (scale 1:1) is 91mm (~ 3½ inches). I printed dozens of them sequentially in batch, in a layout as shown in the picture. For generating the GCode I used Excel, to offset the code for 1 peg in x- and y-direction, in a 2 by 7 grid to generate the entire batch-code, which works much, much faster than slicing the same peg 14 times at different locations on the print bed. I've made that excel-file generic, so I can use it for other (smaller) parts as well, with x- and y offsets I can modify. In the picture, the green surface you see, is the resulting usable printing area after some modifications to my Ultimaker.
