A compact PCB coupler is crafted to facilitate repairs on an USB/RS232 converter attached to an Arduino Pro Mini board. The USB side of this solution is linked directly to the board via header connectors, providing a straightforward and reliable approach for development purposes. However, it may not be suitable for mass production due to its simplicity. The OpenSCAD source file used to create this design can be easily modified to suit individual needs by adjusting the parameters (noted in comments). A notable feature of this coupler is that users can choose between rounded or square corners by setting either RndPCB1CornDia/RndPCB2CornDia or RndPCB1CornCut/RndPCB2CornCut variables, or by setting all to 0 for a square corner design. To print this coupler, use a CTC Bizer Dual Black printer with the following settings: rafts do not matter, resolution is set at 0.2mm, and infill should be 20%. Users who opt for rounded corners may require additional supports during printing.
