I built a compact parts organizer without a bottom, which I attached to hardboard using glue. It functioned quite well. As configured currently, the OpenSCAD file measures 180x180mm with 3x4 divisions, but this dimension can be easily modified. After testing, I discovered that melamine glue holds PLA securely to hardboard at approximately 40 psi popping force. This is more than sufficient for this application, given the grid's roughly 7 square inch contact area. (Whoops, it appears that I uploaded the 3x4 scad and stl files, but displayed a picture of the 4x4 version printed. My apologies.)
