Small Parts Box
myminifactory
This is my design for a fully customizable small parts box that I created to print my own storage trays for my vast collection of tiny items. I designed this so I can easily produce custom storage compartments tailored to my needs. The lids feature a clever lip design that prevents items from shifting between trays when they're closed, ensuring everything stays in its place. However, the lids don't snap shut on their own; instead, I use them inside other boxes that provide the necessary closure. You can find the OpenSCAD source files for this project in my 3d_designs gitlab repository: small_parts_box.scad. The instructions are located at the top of the file and include a few example configurations to get you started. With the provided OpenSCAD file, you have complete control over box size and tray configuration, allowing you to adjust tolerances and wall thickness to suit your specific requirements.
With this file you will be able to print Small Parts Box with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Small Parts Box.
