Small parts bins for Harbor Freight parts storage case (#93928)
thingiverse
7 customizable versions of small parts bins specifically designed for the popular Harbor Freight portable storage cases, model #93928, offering unbeatable value compared to the pricier Sortimo alternatives. To meet their demands, similar bins were also created for Stanley 014725 cases with a slightly different height, as shown on this website: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:579033 Harbor Freight typically doesn't stock extra parts containers which results in quick depletion of smaller compartments, usually when organizing electronic components such as resistors/capacitors and more. To address this need, separate bins with compact storage areas were designed. Key specifications: Length (without lip): 53 mm Width (without lip): 38 mm Height (without feet): 47 mm Printing Instructions For the best results, use PLA, .2mm layer height, and 10% infill settings, as thinner walls can get away without them. Printing upside down, i.e., with the opening facing downwards, is suggested, particularly for designs without compartments. A subsequent bottom-side cleaning process might be needed. Alternatively, printing directly upwards is possible, but the parts will require support due to their base feet, leading to complex cleanup and possible tool damage. Gloves should be worn while handling a utility knife for support removal. Detached feet experiments led to disappointing results - the glue bonds weren't secure enough due to level discrepancies.
