Small Paper Cup
thingiverse
Paper cups get discarded, but sometimes you need one that lasts longer. That's why I created this replica of a small paper cup that holds approximately 3 Oz./89 mL. There's also an octagonal version that holds slightly less. To match the round one's volume, scale X&Y to 1.05. This is a lightweight design not meant for rough handling, but it's strong enough for normal use. I'm surprised by how sturdy and stiff it feels. It was designed for printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle, but smaller nozzles should work fine if you select 100% infill. The wall thickness is 0.8 mm, and it uses less than 4 meters of 1.75 mm filament. The .STL files are 10X, so scale them to 0.1 for printing. Due to the narrow wall thickness, you can't print more than two perimeters with a 0.4 nozzle. Scaling this design to other sizes may not yield good results or strong prints. If you get successful prints, please leave a comment. When using this as a drinking cup, avoid ABS filaments known for toxicity. I used 3D850 PLA, which is plant-based and comes from a company supplying PLA to the food industry.
