Small multicolor test
prusaprinters
I made this small model to try changing filament in the middle of a print, to see if it could be multicolor. I used prusaslicer, sliced it, added a filament change at the layer where it begins the letters. I used an ender 5 pro. When the printer stops at the layer, swap filament and hit resume. This print took around 40 min on my ender 5 pro. Maybe it could work with bambu studio etc. I dont own one so can't test it. Hence, this low budget way of doing it. Its great if you just want something small to test filament swap, so you dont have to waste a lot of filament and time.Print settings used:Layer height: 0.20mmPrint speed: 60mm/sSupports: noRafts: noFilament: PLAAdd pause on layer where text start. Swap filament. Hit resume.Hope this gives you an easy way to learn filament swap mid print
