I crafted three miniature lanterns for the holiday season. I designed the lanterns in 3D and printed them using a cutting-edge 3D printer. I gave the lanterns a sleek, grey matte finish and added a layer of 0.4mm Plexiglas for a transparent effect. To illuminate the lanterns, I employed white SMD LEDs with an orange filter and controlled them using an Arduino Pro Mini. The top of each lantern features a 3mm hole, allowing you to insert a 3mm LED for extra light. I even programmed the lanterns to mimic candle flickering.
