Spools with an inside diameter smaller than 44mm won't fit securely onto the Raise3D N2 spool holder that comes standard. A custom-made adapter allows a 38mm diameter spool to be used, which is necessary for the side door of the printer to shut properly. The profile design of the mounting end was inspired by Thing #1386886 found on thingiverse.com.
