This 3D model originated in Sketchup 8 and was subsequently converted into multiple 3D formats. Its native format is .skp, while 3ds Max 2016 scenes are rendered using Vray 3.00. As requested by MTTT, THIMBLE HILLS COP, I have created a real house with exact measurements from Wyandotte, Michigan. He shared a map link and asked about the interior design. This is a compact yet intriguing house. By carefully analyzing old houses and strategically placing windows and doors, I was able to predict a floor plan that closely resembles what the inside of this kit home could be. Its retro-inspired design makes it stand out. Upon entering the great room, you are immediately drawn to the fireplace right in front! Paulwall specifically requested a house with a chimney upfront. Moving beyond the great room, the dining and kitchen areas feature retro appliances. The sliding glass door and patio may not have been part of the original design, but they were present in the map imagery I received. Notably, my research revealed that this kit home was once a Tudor-style house; inspect Bing Maps (via bing.com) to spot the Tudor trim. Although the model depicts the original Tudor look, upstairs features two spacious bedrooms and one bathroom. Built-in closets are cleverly located within the walls. The basement lies beneath the stairs. Interestingly, many houses in or near Detroit feature raised front patios of similar size, which I accurately recreated in the 3D model. With its steep roof and narrow form, this house resembles a charming cottage bungalow. I hope you enjoy this little abode and take a moment to rate it.
