Small Honey Feeder for Ants

This is a highly compact honey feeder for ant colonies. It's perfect for use with small test tubes like the SM SunniMix 1.8ml tubes I had on hand, which feature marks at 0.5 ml, 1.0 ml, and 1.8 ml. With a diameter of only 0.9 cm or 0.35 inch, this feeder is ideal for use in small arenas where space is limited. Its compact design allows it to hold just enough honey for the ants to work with, taking around 10-30 seconds for the honey to drain down into the base. Once there, it should come to a stop. While designed specifically for honey, this feeder can also be used with water - but you'll need to place a small amount of cotton wool between the test tube and the base to prevent the water from spreading out.
