I needed a clip to hold a couple of small (5v power-supply-sized) wires.  Every existing design I found was ludicrously large for the job.  The cover photo demonstrates the difference, comparing this hacked version with the parameterized model. Why not just resize the parameterized clip?I tried resizing the parameterized clip, but it blew other parts of the f3d model when I changed the height, and I was too lazy to recreate my own clip in Fusion360.  Instead, I hacked the 3mf sample uploaded by djedje_zr7, using Microsoft 3D Builder. The resulting model is here in .3mf (retains its 2-parts as separate models, positioned to print-in-place.)Printing Tips:I find the model breaks loose from the bed, unless I use a brim (4mm wide is enough) or a raft.  The brim gives me the cleaner model, but requires some post-printing clean-up with a sharp knife, to cut away the brim from the bottom edge and to tease the clip open.If you want to print multiple clips in one job, use the stl file.  (A slicer will typically separate the two pieces when arranging them as 3mf models.)Post-Processing Recommendations:Because I made the clip shorter by splitting the model and pushing the bottom half up into the top half, the closure is not two smooth sloped surfaces anymore. Now, the closure makes a firm, satisfying, click, but it also requires a bit more care and effort to pry open.  I run the knife down between the hinge sockets and the top piece, to remove any strings between  the two, before levering the closure tabs apart to split the brim and bend the tab a little outward, when first opening the printed clip.  24Feb2023 - Added a “Slightly Looser Closure” Version:I tweaked the closure just a tad, to make the closure just a little bit easier to open.  Still clicks firmly closed.  Requires a little less force to open.1Mar2023 - Added a version with the clip already openI have successfully printed dozens of the other two models I posted here, but the first person to post a make here was not able to get theirs open.Today, I have uploaded a version which has the clip already open, like the original is.  CAUTION: I do not know how other slicers treat .3mf files, but Cura definitely will treat the top and the bottom parts of the 3mf version of this clip as two distinct models, when you load it.  It may, therefore, move the two parts relative to each other, when loading/centering/arranging the model.  Please double-check that the hinge pin is in the center of the hinge socket, before slicing. Or only print the stl versions of the file.
