Printer: Adventurer 4 (not avail. in the pulldown) Raft: I use a 3mm raft for most things - it's what works for me. Supports: The only part that may need supports is the roof. The stem can be printed vertical or horizontal (with supports), depending on how your build plate handles adhesion and tall, skinny pieces. This would probably be best if printed in PETG, since it will be outside, but the weather here is mild - and PETG and I don't get along (we're still getting to -know- each other). There are four (4) pieces for easy cleaning. The roof goes on over the top (the stem end with the hole) and rests on ridge. The base goes on from the bottom, and is kept in place by the wing nut. Don't over-tighten - there's no need. The threaded end on the stem and the wing nut are from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647. Holds approx. 1/2 cup of hulled seed. Reason for creating: I work in a Wild Birds Unlimited store. The birds and I love WBU feeders, and I have many of them, but the tree where this one will hang is small and has thin branches and thin leaves. I have the hanging cups, which work well, but there is no protection for the seed, from rain or other moisture that may settle. Created using Tinkercad. :) www.tinkercad.com My next creation may be some kind of 'cover' for those hanging dishes.
