Small Garmin Handlebar Mount
thingiverse
This compact Garmin mount extends forward over the handlebar or attaches above the headset for seamless installation. Revised 01/01/15 Check out my instructions to learn about the mounts I have designed and printed. Updated Note: I removed unnecessary material from this mount that appeared only when exported as a .stl file. Additional support is included to enhance print success with minimal bed support. To ensure optimal printing, position the brackets flat on the build surface and rotate them 90 degrees for best results. Detailed Instructions I have tested multiple prints and used this mount on mountain trails to verify its durability. Maximum strength is achieved by printing it at 100% fill density and thicker walls using PLA at 200F with a bed temperature of 60C. High-quality prints can be obtained at 100% infill, 0.1 layer thickness, and 3.6mm wall width. Note: Support structures should only be used from the build surface, allowing other parts to print without additional support. Check out my accompanying photos for visual guidance. Position the brackets flat on the build surface, rotate them 90 degrees for best printing results.
