Small funnel with wide mouth
thingiverse
I use this small funnel to add solid plant food to a one-gallon jug and dilute it with water. I had been using a paper funnel that had a too-small opening for the clumpy solids, and the paper would get wet, clog, and tear. Now, I know you can buy a plastic funnel anywhere for less than what it costs to print, but where's the fun in that? This funnel is 75mm tall, with a wide mouth of 75mm OD and a small end of 25mm OD. It's 3mm thick, leaving the large opening at 72mm and the small one at 22mm. I used red PLA because it was already loaded, and I went with standard Cura settings for fine prints using a 200-degree Celsius nozzle temperature and a 60-degree Celsius bed temperature. I added a skirt for adhesion and support for any overhangs, though I don't think support was needed. It took longer than expected to print at over five hours with these settings, using about seven meters or twenty-one grams of filament. I believe you could tweak the settings and get an acceptable print much faster. I designed this object in Tinkercad, sliced it in Cura, and printed it on my Creality CR-10. It turned out great and works well with minimal cleanup required. A 3mm thickness seems a good choice as it's quite strong without using excessive filament. - Happy Printing, Sonic Ox
