A few months back, I manufactured some overhead filament mounts for my Anet A8 (https://www.thingiverse.com/make:541868). They function flawlessly. Additionally, I created and printed my own universal hubs to secure reels of filament (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3139730). These hubs fit perfectly onto 8mm threaded rod and are designed without bearings. Lately, I purchased a pack of twenty filaments from Amazon. Each is ten meters long and comes without reels (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B075F91X2T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Instead of waiting for one of my current reels of filament to run out, I designed a set of mini-filament reels that fit the same brackets. I have included the STL files as well as the gcode files produced by Cura for my setup.
