Small Filament Guide for bowden extruder
thingiverse
Small filament guide for bowden extruder with screw thread. It can help with installing 'normal' filaments too. Sometimes I had some problems with this because of inside screw thread that was not cooperating. Tested in JG Aurora A1 (I printed my Piggy with TPU), before that elastic filament kept getting out of the tube from time to time, causing frustration. INSTALLATION You need to unscrew the black metal plate and take it off. Then drive in the guide up to some resistance without using too much force, making sure it's securely in place. Next, if the guide is not in the right position, slightly unscrew the tube holder and screw the guide in until it clicks into position. If it doesn't fit, just unscrew the holder a bit more, then screw everything back to the extruder. After that, check if the guide is not too close to the grinder by moving it and listening for any grinding sounds. If it's too close, you'll need to unscrew the tube holder a bit more or cut 1mm from the top of the guide where the screw thread is, then check again. If the part breaks and gets stuck inside, you may need to use a left-handed screw (or a right-handed one from the side of the tube holder after removing it) to pull it out carefully. UPDATE: 21.III.2019 The updated model has arrived! Now it's without those small holes on the sides.
