Small End Blade. XCB-105-2956. 400 BCE-100 CE. XCB-105 Adamagan is situated atop Morzhovoi Bay, western Alaska Peninsula, a vast village with diverse occupations. At its peak of occupation from 400 BCE-100 CE, it was the largest Arctic village, housing an estimated 1000 people. The site also features limited occupations dating back to 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE. The Western Alaska Peninsula artifacts are showcased as a result of comprehensive research conducted under NSF grants 9630072, 9814086, 9996372, 9996415, 1139266, 1321411. H. Maschner led the investigation as Principal Investigator. These artifacts were digitized using either Faro Edge Arm or Minolta Vivid 9i scanners. Processing took place in Geomagic or Polyworks software, with 2-8 photos employed for texture in Geomagic Wrap. The original digitizing work was completed at the IVL, located within Id. St. Univ., while subsequent processing and publication were carried out by Global Digital Heritage.
