This is a test print for the "555 Metal Gear Motor" (available on Ebay for under 10 dollars). I used a 13x19mm rectangular switch and a 2.5mm DC In Line Plug Socket Female with an outer diameter of 8mm. In addition to printing, you'll need: * 555 Metal Gear Motor with drill chuck * Rectangular switch 13x19mm * DC In Line Plug Socket Female 8mm * Electrical wires Print Settings: Printer: HICTOP Prusa i3 clone Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: I printed this using PLA, so the settings depend on your filament. With my current eSUN PLA (which I'm not impressed with), I used 220C (230C for the first layer) and a bed temperature of 65C (70C for the first layer). My beta case with a round switch hole (a design failure that happened to work out) was printed at 210C on different filament, and the results were far superior, even though the filament was "no name". How I Designed This: Assembling Instructions Make sure you solder the wires so that the chuck spins in the right direction - it's crucial for a drill. First, do the wiring. Second, screw the motor to the case. Third, install the drill chuck. Push the switch and DC socket into their holes. Glue the cap.
