Silica-gel desiccant can be restored to its original effectiveness by baking at a temperature of 75-90C (167-200F) for several hours. Since PLA may begin to soften at this heat, it's recommended to use a higher-temperature filament, such as clear PETG. If you're using PLA, simply open the box, pour the desiccant into a baking pan, and then transfer it back to the container once it has cooled slightly.
