A Simple yet Elegant Container Designed to Elevate Your Space. Standing at approximately 10CM in height, this container is ideal for showcasing short-stemmed flowers or utilizing as a decorative column. You can also repurpose it by removing the top and using it to store pens or other office supplies. Alternatively, printing it on a larger scale could result in a stunning vase. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 layer height for optimal results with LayBrick Infill: Minimal infill is sufficient Notes: The default print settings took approximately 6 hours to complete, using a 0.3 layer height and 50mm/s print speed on my Wanhao Duplicator I3. For a more polished finish, consider printing at 0.2 or 0.1 layer heights. Design Overview: This container was created using Tinkercad, with the statues sourced from Bioshock. The design was refined through Meshmixer/Netfabb to ensure a seamless fit. While it may not be a complex design, trial and error were key in bringing this piece together. The lower ring serves a functional purpose, providing stability for the female statues by suspending them using a rig that covers their lower half. This detail adds an extra layer of depth to the design. Origin of the Statues: Bioshock The statues on the exterior are extracted from one of the Bioshock games or its DLCs (Rapture). I'm pleased to share this design, as it showcases my admiration for the decor in Bioshock and previous Batman movies. Please note that using these models for commercial purposes may infringe on fair use laws. Modification: The statues have been modified to some extent, as the game only stores rough geometric forms. Any smoothness comes from texture. My attempts at refinement are ongoing, but I believe they're acceptable. Extracting Models: If you own a copy of Bioshock (or 2 or Infinite), you can extract the models yourself using UEViewer or other programs that can extract resources from the Unreal Engine. Convert the PSK(X) files to STL format using Blender and its corresponding plugin. Tips for Use as a Vase: When utilizing this container as a vase, please be aware that 3D printed designs are often not waterproof or food safe. To minimize risks, consider placing flowers in a sealed bag within the container or applying a waterproof coating.
