I'm planning on making a series of custom cake signs using 3D printing. To make these, I'll be setting the sizing at about half the normal size for the print. The hanger should be set around three quarters the length, and the post will probably reach up to 85% of its total height. For holding the chains together, I estimate about sixty percent, but this can always change as it may end up needing more or less. Two cake flavor signs will be needed for a baby shower celebration. Once printed, I'll add some visual interest by painting over half the sign in chalkboard paint. There is a lot of wiggle room on these measurements since chains can just be trimmed back if necessary. Later, pictures will appear showcasing completed project when finished. Remember, this doesn't come pre-supported so adding one little holder will allow it to be flat under your cake or another surface which keeps everything even level and tidy looking.
