small decorative sphere for jewelry or decoration
prusaprinters

Here is a small 24mm diameter decorative sphere with tiny eyelet (i.e for a hook, thread, or fishing line) that I printed in under an hour on an Ender 5 with default 0.4mm nozzle. It came out very nice and the built-in supports came off easily. I printed on glass at 0.2mm layer height with no additional bed adhesion other than the built in supports at 60/mm/s. I did increase the bed temp (from my normal of 60C up to 68C) just to make sure it didn't break loose and I had no trouble printing. It is thick enough to feel solid.

Perhaps this could be used for jewelry such as pendant or earrings or scaled up. I included a clockwise and counter clockwise variant. I think it is interesting to look at too.

This was created based on OpenSCAD code shared at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:187972 which is very nice. Thanks very much to the developer for sharing the OpenSCAD code!

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 5

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

100%

Filament: eSun PLA+ PLA+ cool white

Category: Fashion
