This set of objects and scripts enables the construction of extremely simple gearboxes. I created it primarily for reusing small and weak DC motors, which often struggle to be used with printed planetary gearboxes due to their low torque requirements. A very low-torque first stage is therefore necessary. Gear changing and selection are made easy by the fact that the gearbox core relies on two threaded rods. The set includes a parametric motor holder, or at least an easy-to-modify OpenSCAD version; skater bearing holders (used to support reducer gears); a threaded rod holder (employed to secure the entire gearbox to a housing); and a plastic planetary gearbox for hex shafts (allowing for hex shaft support and power output via hex shaft, as seen in peristatic pump rotors). More elements may be added later. This serves as an excellent toy and can be applied in any slow-motion high-torque application. Many of the components are copied from other people's designs; I hope to have included all necessary credits, but if not, please notify me.
