Small DC motor gearbox 186:1
thingiverse
This is a small 3D printed gearbox that works perfectly for the motor found at https://botland.com.pl/en/dc-motors-without-gears/4721-mini-dc-motor-mt86-3-6v.html. However, I'm confident it will also work with different motors featuring a 2mm shaft diameter. This design serves as a replacement for this specific motor: https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/2-sztuk-TT-silnik-130-silnik-samoch-d-zdalnie-sterowany-motoreduktor-dla-Arduino-DC3V-6V-DC/32868653773.html. To build it, you will need all three 3D printed parts (2 spacers), the motor and some additional materials: hot glue to attach the motor and gear, 2x 3mm screws, 2x 3mm screw nuts, a 2mm drill bit, a 3mm drill bit, a 23.5mm x 2mm shaft, a 27mm or longer x 2mm shaft, and a Dremel tool to trim the motor shaft if it's too long. If anything doesn't fit properly, you can use sandpaper to make adjustments. I plan to utilize this gearbox as a drive system for my autonomous vacuum cleaner robot project and will also attempt to design various types of gearboxes with different ratios. If you appreciate this project, consider supporting me so I can continue designing new things.
