Small curved 1.75 filament clip
prusaprinters

I wanted a simple small filament clip on spool rim. Tried several designes from PrusaPrinters and finally decided to make my own. I have taken inspiration from John's clip that works great, but is rather big and does not clip to almost full spools. My second inspiration is Kaje's curved clip with springy part, but it is too loosy for lot of my spools. So I made this, it is made from scratch, but incorporates ideas of curved springy design from Kaje's clip and flat side and filament hole on the end from John's clip.

There are four versions.

FlatVersion - bigger and smaller flat sided curved clip, somewhat universal, but proved that work great on PolyTerra spools.

SunluVersion - bigger with protrusion, that works better with thin Sunlu black spools.

PMVersion - bigger with grove to accomodate protrusion on PM spool's rim.

Printing instructions:

Printed with PLA and PETG in 0.2 resolution. 0% infill.

There are two versions of each clip. I found that on my printer (Mini+) 2mm hole fits for printing in PLA and 2.05mm hole fits for printing in PETG.

UPDATE:

Updated stls with models with 2mm holes for filaments. Previously used 1.95 (except Sunlu) is quite tight and if filament has for example grooves from extruder gear, it can be too tight.

Added PETG versions.
