Small cup/coverage/outlet cover
thingiverse
I live in a flat where there is a power cable running down the middle of one wall. The cord was originally connected to a lamp that I had mounted on the wall, but it has been unused for a while now. So I decided to cover up the cable for both aesthetic and safety reasons, while also keeping the option open to use it again in the future if needed. To achieve this, I made a small container out of white abs plastic. Next, I placed the container over the previously insulated cables and then secured it with some painter's acrylic glue. After that, all I had to do was match the paint on the wall with some extra coats to blend it in seamlessly.
