Designed by students from EAST in Fusion 360, we successfully print these models without supports on our Ultimaker with no problems. With PLA, we can print these with light infill and they float well, achieving a good balance. If you want this to sink, be aware that these will sink tail first if you print solid, so position the extra weight accordingly. Print both flat sides down. Inside cavities are designed for weight/balance, through wire, and registration purposes.
