Small compasses case
thingiverse
My son asked me to craft him a small case for his school compasses. He was inspired by the Pencil case created by maakmake and its clever design. I'm eager to learn the fundamentals of Fusion 360, so I've decided to create my own version - slightly smaller in size, just enough to hold the compasses and a few pieces of pencils in a separate compartment. This project is for my son, so I added engravings and painted it with acryl paint. The main compartment measures 12cm x 2.4cm x 1cm. I've carefully inserted two magnets - 4mm in diameter and 2mm thick - into the case. While this feature may be optional, my son might appreciate its functionality. I've included both STLs and Fusion 360 exported project files for your reference. I'm confident that my design could use improvement, so please share your thoughts on how to optimize it using Fusion 360 effectively.
