Small CNC for draw, PCB or wood
thingiverse
I'm building a small CNC machine for drawing, PCBs or wood using 3030 profiles with original metal parts. It's equipped with many M3, M4 and M5 screws and nuts. For testing, I use the Proxxon Micromot 50, but it's not strong enough for milling. I need to buy this material: Four LM8UU (axis Z) + two rods Four SC10UU (axis X) + two rods + four rod mounts Four SC12UU (axis Y) + two rods + four rod mounts Two 6030 500mm aluminum profiles Three 3030 310mm aluminum profiles Two 3030 250mm aluminum profiles Six bearings, size 8x22x7 Three NEMA17 motors Three metal couplings, 5/8mm thick One Arduino UNO + CNC shield + three drivers (for GRBL) + USB cable You can also use this part for the underside of the frame: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3482337 For pen holder upgrades, check out: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3853015 First run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9hzwYG_HQ8 Second run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6trO2A7iOw Project started May 20, 2019 Added adjustable endstop lever June 20, 2019 Created new pen holder September 10, 2019
