Small Climbing Hold (Drawer Handle)
prusaprinters
Hi!This is my small climbing hold. It is supposed to be a drawer handle, do not use it for real climbing!! Its dimensions are approx. 40 x 30 x 15 mm and it should fit screws with an M4 thread. How do you print it?The surface of it looks a bit strange, this is because this model was a test object for me to try the fuzzy skin feature in Cura Slicer (it is available in Prusa Slicer as well). If you would also like to have the same surface texture you need to activate this feature in your slicer. The climbing hold itself consists of only one part and can be printed in around 40 minutes without supports. I recommend a 0.2 mm layer height, a 20% gyroid infill and PLA (you can use any other material though). Anything else to know?In future versions I might make the diameter of the holes a bit lager, they are big enough for M4 but it was a tight fit due to the tolerances of my printer. I hope you like it. As always: If it does not work for you please leave a comment or shoot me a message instead of simply posting a 1 star review, I'm sure there is no problem that can't be solved. My models may not look like much but I put not only a lot of heart and time into them but also provide them for free. Therefore, I always find it discouraging when people simply leave a bad rating without at least contacting me or giving feedback on how it could be improved. Thanks! :-)
