Small C7 LED Cover with flat side
thingiverse
A sleek C7-style LED light cover is designed to perfectly fit over LEDs with a 12mm cover, like most Pixels used in festive Christmas displays. The flat surface allows for easy placement along a rope or conduit arch and keeps the LED sitting flush, eliminating the unsightly protrusion. I print these covers at an incredibly fine 0.2mm resolution, with an impressive speed of 3600mm/sec, using two outline layers and three top layers that produce a robust finish. The solid top surface sticks well to BuildTak, but if sticking issues arise, try printing a skirt with two outlines spaced 2mm apart to improve adhesion. The images demonstrate the cover installed on a pixel as well as a bare pixel for comparison's sake, showcasing the dramatic difference the cover makes in terms of appearance. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: To achieve optimal results, 100% infill is recommended. For enhanced structural integrity, allow infill for 0.5mm or larger to solidify the tip. Infall can be completely disregarded if so desired; performance will still be adequate.
