Small box, smooth fit - a Tinkercad exercise

At 100% size this is only a tiny 2 x 2 x 2.7 cm, with a perfect fit of the lid that snaps on seamlessly. It prints with a .6 nozzle at 0.2 layer height in just 27 minutes flat, requiring zero support and a mere 10% triangle infill. I was searching for boxes to use for Geocaching when I realized the best box is my own custom design, tailored to fit exactly where I need it. That means mastering the art of creating boxes from scratch. This one is impressively small, allowing for lightning-fast printing and prototyping, as well as a great exercise in working with tight fits and precise clearances. The inner lip has carefully rounded edges for smooth removal of the top lid. In the end, this turns out to be an excellent introduction to the endless possibilities of Tinkercad. I'm thoroughly enjoying it! Somewhere next, I'll be designing a custom box for GC198, Amsterdam Urban 1, to make it blend seamlessly into the bridge where it's hidden.
