White-eye ("Mejiro" or "Zosterops japonica") is a small bird found in Japan and Southeast Asia, and it prefers nectar from flowers. In winter, white-eye often visits to drink sugar water in a bowl.Larger birds also come and drive White-eye away, so I made a feeder with columns spaced specifically for White-eyes. It can also be used as a feeder for small birds other than White-eye.The first step is to glue the top and bottom of the body. Then, the gate is glued in place after the top part is passed through the hole. Make sure the gate moves smoothly. Pay attention to the orientation of the gate. The cup is screwed into the bottom. The cup can be removed as needed to clean the feeder. The feeder can be hung from a tree branch or other object with metal fittings as shown in the photo.
