FOR ALL SMALL BIRD WIRE CAGE TYPES. I have other models that are only for 1 x 0.5 in welded breeder wire. Meant for a 9 x 5 inch bed or larger, this design uses a split-screw mechanism to lock securely onto the wire. The cap features an insert that prevents the screw from over-tightening or coming loose during storage. I tested the mount by screwing and unscrewing it about 50 times, and it still functions flawlessly. This perch can be mounted in various ways to provide different environments for your bird. For maximum perching area, use two perches with the branching flat, or create a play zone by allowing the chain to hang down from an upward-facing branch. Simply rotating the perch 90 degrees creates a completely new cage layout. The textured design is inspired by pumpkin vine, offering both wide and narrow perching options. I've tested this model with painted conures, parrotlets, and green cheek conures. ENSURE THERE ARE NO LOOSE FILAMENTS. Remove any stray threads or melt them together using a heat gun to prevent your bird from getting its toes caught and potentially hanging itself until it dies. Safety must be taken very seriously! If you want to create your own perch model, I've included the mount I use as a starting point. Simply build off of this design in your preferred software or meshmixer. When using meshmixer, remember to keep the detail and number of triangles high when making the model solid, or it may not screw closed properly.
