The FDM printer was thoroughly tested and put through its paces on birds. It didn't take the birds long to figure out how it worked, about one whole day in fact! Every component is precision-crafted from PLA except for the "dispenser mid VASE MODE NO BOTTOM.stl". That specific part required a special blend of materials and was printed in clear PET-G. When creating this complex assembly, several print modes were used. The intricate details in the dispenser are brought to life using the "spiral outer contour mode" in Cura without a base (zero base layers). All other components received normal printing treatment with 20% infill, four wall and top & bottom layers via a .4mm nozzle. Thanks to clever design considerations, no support material is required. Plus, everything needed is right there at the ready to be printed in its optimal position. The parts needed are numerous and they're outlined below: 1X M3x160mm threaded rod and 2X M3 nut are absolutely essential, as well as a tube of super glue. Some additional stl files are necessary too. Please note the following: - base.stl should be printed twice. - 1x dispenser top.stl must also be included in your prints. - One print of dispenser bottom.stl is also required. - For this dispenser you will need to include a special mid section part that needs specific conditions during printing. That's "dispenser mid VASE MODE NO BOTTOM 0.4mm.stl" if I am not mistaken. - As for nut holder parts: one nut holder bottom partA.stl and one nut holder bottom partB.stl must be included. - A pair of nut holders top is also required; those are represented as two identical stl files: "nut holder top.stl".
