Small Asteroid Refinery

A top-secret industrial facility is currently under construction on a rugged asteroid; the finished version will be revealed soon. The complex, equipped with advanced machinery for drilling and shattering rock interiors, extracting volatile gases, and storing them in a sophisticated geodesic sphere with a docking system, is a marvel of modern engineering. Freighters regularly visit the facility to collect the extracted resources. Adjacent to the refinery are the power, communication, and radiator arrays, which tower into space like proud banners. Facilities like this often have small, tight-knit crews that work six-month rotations; however, in some areas, the process can be entirely automated, with occasional maintenance performed by freighter crews as they pass through. This facility was built as a key objective for the upcoming space shooter Astrokill.
